    USA Hockey will recognize 12 individuals at their annual President's Awards Dinner on June 6 in Denver.

    Among those recognized will be Boston Fleet and Team USA captain Hilary Knight, who is the 2025 recipient of the Bob Allen Women’s Player of the Year.

    Knight led Team USA in scoring at the 2025 World Championships with nine points, including the opening goal in USA's gold medal win over Canada.

    At the tournament, Knight set the all-time IIHF women's World Championship record for most career assists. She finished with 53 career assists, and now holds the IIHF World Championships records for goals, assists, and points.

    Her gold medal also made Knight the most decorated player in IIHF World Championships history with 15 medals overall, including 10 gold. 

    As USA Hockey wrote, Knight is a "difference maker on the ice" whose "inspired play and steady leadership helped the U.S. earn its 11th all-time Women’s World Championship title." 

    At the PWHL level, Knight tied for the league lead in points with 29 and tied for second in goals with 15.

    It's the third time in Knight's career she has won the Bob Allen Women’s Player of the Year award also earning the honor in 2022 and 2014. Last year Laila Edwards won, with Caroline Harvey winning in 2023. 

    Stacey Hochkins Named Adult Player Of The Year

    The only other woman set to be recognized at the President's Awards Dinner is New Boston, Michigan native Stacey Hochkins, who was named the USA Hockey Adult Player of the Year.

    Hochkins played NCAA hockey for Union College, and currently is an assistant coach at Lawrence Tech University and Orchard Lake Saint Mary’s and Saint Catherine’s High School.

    As a player this year Hochkins represented the Foundry 13 Little Caesars Women’s Hockey Team helped them win the 21+ Tier 1 2025 USA Hockey-Long Drink Adult Women’s National Championship.
