
Naisten Liiga, Finland's top women's league handed out their annual awards with Elisa Holopainen and Michaela Pejzlova leading the way.

Elisa Holopainen and Michaela Pejzlova both took home multiple awards at the Naisten Liiga's Ice Hockey Gala in Finland.
Holopainen won the Riikka Nieminen Award as league MVP after topping all players in goals scored with 41, and finishing second in overall points with 75 in 28 games with KalPa. Holopainen, a member of Finland's national team also named the winner of the Katja Riipi Award as top forward, and Tiia Reima Award top plus/minus.
Pejzlova was the league's leading scorer compiling 32 goals and 82 points in 31 games this season playing for HIFK, earning the Marianne Ihalainen Award as top scorer. Pejzlova, a member of Czechia's bronze medal national team also won the Sari Fisk Award as top power play performer, and was awarded the women's student award.
Sanni Vanhanen, another Finnish national team member won the Noora Raty Award as top newcomer and Karoliina Rantamaki Award as playoff MVP. She had 40 points in 22 regular season games before adding 20 points in nine playoff games for HIFK.
Other award winners included Team Kuortane's Emilia Krykko as top goaltender, HIFK's Sini Yrjola as best defender, Saara Niemi of HIFK as coach of the year, and Jenna Hietala of KalPa as fair play player.
