Jenniina Nylund scores a pair of goals for Brynas in her rookie season.

Finnish national team member and recent St. Cloud State graduate Jenniina Nylund is hitting her stride with Brynas in the SDHL.

Nylund signed with Brynas this offseason after scoring 28 points in 37 games with St. Cloud State last season, which she followed up with seven points in seven games for Finland at the World Championships.

Through 13 games this season in the SDHL, Nylund has 15 points, including a two goal and two assist performance for Brynas in their 5-2 win over Frolunda this weekend.

Lulea Hands AIK A Drubbing

It seems like a certainty AIK will be the team at most risk for relegation this season in the SDHL, as the club is struggling to remain competitive. The most recent blow to AIK, who have lost all 14 games they've played this season, was a 13-3 drubbing at the hands of Lulea.

Lulea, who outshot AIK 77-12, got a five point performance from Petra Nieminen, and four point performances from Noora Tulus and Jenni Hiirikoski, all stars for Finland's national team.

Tejralova Scores In Overtime

In less than two weeks time, Aneta Tejralova will be in training camp with PWHL Ottawa. Luckily for MoDo, the Czechia national team captain hasn't left yet, as Tejralova scored the overtime winner for MoDo 18 seconds into extra time.

Facing SDE, who scored first in the game, Team Czechia stars took over for MoDo. Adela Sapovalivova scored the game tying goal with a minute remaining in the second period. After a scoreless third, the game headed to overtime where Tejralova scored with the assist going to Lina Ljungblom in MoDo's 2-1 decision.
