Swiss superstar Alina Muller is headed back to Europe to play for the ZSC Lions in the SWHL until the new professional women's hockey league launches in North America.

"Alina is a great asset to our team," said ZSC's Angela Frautschi. "She will raise the level in our training sessions, as well as in the league, and make us better every day."

Muller had signed this offseason with the PHF's Boston Pride and is widely considered one of the top forwards on the planet. She plans to join the new professional women's hockey league, but will compete in the Swiss league until timelines and plans are settled in North America.

This week, Muller will also play for Switzerland at a 4 Nations Cup featuring Germany, France, Hungary and France.

Muller spent last season in the NCAA with Northeastern where she scored 60 points in 38 games before adding 10 points in seven games at the World Championships.
