Michaela Pejzlova and Elisa Holopainen headline Naisten Liiga's 2023-2024 First and Second Team All-Star selections.
With Finland's Naisten Liiga regular season in the books, the league has named their First and Second Team All-Stars.
Despite missing a chunk of the season due to injury, Czechia's Michaela Pejzlova who plays for HIFK, led Naisten Liiga in scoring with 70 points in 24 games, earning herself a spot on as a First Team All-Star. Other members of the league's First Team include Elisa Holopainen, Emma Nuutinen, Sanni Rantala, Siiri Yrjölä, and netminder Olivia Last.
Second Team All-Stars included goaltender Kerttu Kuja-Halkola, defenders Minnamari Tuominen and Oona Koukkula, and the forward trio of Julia Liikala , Kiekko-Espoon's Lisette Täks and Oulun Kärppien's Emma Ekoluoma .
Three of Naisten Liiga's top five scorers - Sanni Vanhanen, Julia Liikala, and Clara Rozier were omitted from the lists. All three played for HIFK.
Vanhanen was second in Naisten Liiga scoring with 27 goals and 66 points in 32 games.
