After Emma Nordin opened the scoring for Lulea, Nieminen took a feed from Klara Kenttälä and deked Stephanie Neatby who was spectacular in net for Frolunda to make it 2-0 Lulea. Frolunda answered back, but in the third period, Nieminen added to Lulea's lead reversing directions behind the net before tucking home the insurance marker. She'd later assist on Ronja Savolainen's third of the season. Neatby made 45 saves for Frolunda in the loss, her team's first of the season.
