PWHL Montreal general manager Daniele Sauvageau will help guide Italy's national women's team as their Director of Coaching.

PWHL Montreal general manager Daniele Sauvageau is not only intent on building a winner in Montreal, she's also been helping with the growth of Italy's national women's hockey team as their Director of Coaching.
Italy is set to compete in the Division IB World Championships beginning this week in Riga, Latvia.
Sauvageau will oversee Italy's coaching staff of head coach Stephanie Poirier, assistant coach Stefano Daprà, video coach Kayla Tutino and skills assistant coaches Alexandre Tremblay and Karel St-Laurent.
There's a decided French Canadian spin to the staff as Poirier spent nine seasons as an assistant coach with the University of Montreal where Sauvageau also serves as executive director of women's hockey.
Tutino, Tremblay, and St-Laurent are all from Quebec. Tremblay and St-Laurent both went on to play professional men's hockey, while Tutino spent three seasons in the CWHL with the Boston Blades and Montreal Canadiennes.
Team Italy will open their tournament March 31 against Great Britain.
