Troy Ryan, Kori Cheverie, and Tara Watchorn have each been tapped to coach one of Canada's three national women's programs.

Ryan will coach Canada's senior national team, Cheverie Canada's national development team, and Watchorn will lead the Canadian U-18 program.

“We’re excited about the coaching staff, including a number of alumnae, we have assembled for our women’s programs for the upcoming season,” said Gina Kingsbury , vice-president of hockey operations in a Hockey Canada news release. 

“We are grateful for the commitment many of our coaches make to return year after year to lead and develop our athletes, and look forward to the leadership and expertise they will bring in leading our teams on the international stage.”

Cheverie will also join Ryan as an assistant with Canada's national team alongside Caroline Ouellette and Courtney Birchard-Kessel.

Assisting Cheverie with the development team are Rachel Flanagan, Noémie Marin and Cassandra Turner, while Watchorn's staff includes Stefanie McKeough and Vicky Sunohara.
