Sweden has named their women's U-18 national team for a summer series from August 6-14 in Lake Placid, New York. Sweden won a silver medal at the 2023 U-18 World Championships ousting Team USA in a semifinal game.

Headlining the group are senior national team members Hilda Svensson and Ebba Hedvist.

Returnees from Sweden's silver medal winning team include goaltender Lovisa Lundström, who served as the team's third goalie, defender Linnea Natt och Dag, and forwards Mira Hallin, Ella Hellman, Emilia Bergeby Hallbeck, Isabelle Leijonhielm, and Emma Rehn.

The biggest omission from the list is Jenna Raunio who has consistently been one of Sweden's top performers at the U-18 level and remains eligible this year.

The group also includes 13 newcomers. Notable to that list are Nellie Svensson who will play in the SDHL with Frolunda this season, Evelina Arvidsson who is headed for the SDHL's HV71, Linkoping's Vega Milfors, and SDE's Elsa Åberg and Stella Sjöberg.

Also named to Team Sweden were Maja Helge, Rebecka Hollström, Hedvig Sturk, Wilma Georgny, Sanna Halsius, Edit Danielsson, Moa Johannesson, Meja Andersson.
