Sweden has selected a pair of teams as part of their Olympic Offensive initiative looking to capture medals at the 2026 and 2030 Olympics.

The Olympic Offensive 2026 and Olympic Offensive 2030 teams will train together and compete against each other this summer, and will also play a series of exhibition games against NCAA national champions Ohio State in Sweden in July. Ohio State will see several members of the Swedish program join their roster over the next two years.

"With WC 2024 fresh in my mind to say the least, it is obvious for me to state two things. Partly because we do an awful lot that is good in Swedish ice hockey, but also that we need to put in another gear. A little more is required. I hope that an even sharper Olympic Offensive can act as a catalyst for increased demands in the daily home environment," said Ulf Lundberg, Sweden's national team head coach in a translated statement.

Lundberg, along with Andreas Karlsson, Sweden's U-18 coach selected the rosters with an eye on continuing to make Sweden more competitive on the international stage. The teams will be working alongside the Swedish Ice Hockey Association and SDHL to prepare, and are receiving additional funding from Sweden's Olympic organization.

"We are happy that the investment continues, and the feeling is that the journey has only just begun," said Angelica Lindeberg of the SDHL in a translated statement. "The signal value is great for young girls who are willing to invest fully in ice hockey."

The Olympic Offensive 2026 team will participate in training and intrasquad games in May, followed by three exhibition games against the reigning NCAA national champions Ohio State from July 22-28 in Uppsala, Sweden. Multiple members of Sweden's national program including Mira Jungaker, Elin Svensson, Jenna Raunio, and Hilda Svensson will all head to Ohio State in the coming seasons. The Olympic Offensive 2030 group will take part in a five day camp in May and against in June.

The Olympic Offensive 2026 group includes veterans like Hanna Olsson, Lina Ljungblom, Emma Soderberg, Hanna Thuvik, Sara Hjalmarsson, Maja Nylen Persson, Linnea Andersson, and Anna Kjellbin, along with many NCAA players like Tindra Holm, Solveig Gisler, Ida Karlsson, Sofia Ljung, Josefin Bouveng, Thea Johansson,  and Celine Tedenby. The group also includes rising domestic players like Ida Boman, Ebba Svensson Träff, Jungaker, Lova Blom, Ebba Hedqvist, Nicole Hall, Wilma Sundin, Svensson, and Felicia Wikner-Zienkiewicz.

The Olympic Offensive 2030 group includes primarily members of Sweden's recent U-18 rosters including Linnea Natt och Dag, Wilma Georgny, Stella Lindell, Tillie Ytfeldt, Tilde Grillfors, and Edit Danielsson.
