
Team Caribbean won the LATAM Amerigol Cup for the second straight year beating Argentina in the final.

Team Caribbean went a perfect 5-0 at the 2024 LATAM Amerigol Cup in South Florida, including a 5-0 championship game win over Argentina to win the 2024 title.
Caribbean were undefeated in the round robin portion of the tournament beating Chile, Puerto Rico, and Lebanon. It was the Caribbean's second straight win at the tournament after they won the 2023 event as well.
In the final facing Argentina, Kianna Salliant scored a pair of goals while Juliana Rodgers made 16 saves for the shutout.
Salliant played for Arcadia University last season scoring 18 points in 25 games as a rookie at the NCAA DIII level. Rodgers recently finished her second season at the NCAA DIII level with Alvernia University.
After Salliant scored the opening and eventual game winning goal in the first period, Cassidhe Wozniak and Emma Deman added to Team Caribbean's lead in the second game.
Taking a solid lead into the third, Salliant grabbed her second of the game, and Karly Aguirre, who finished with a goal and two assists in the win, capped off the scoring. Aguirre recently completed her fourth season of NCAA DIII hockey with Stevenson University.
