Chloe Primerano is still U-18 eligible, but she could be the next new face to join Canada's senior national team as a generational talent to carry Canada's women's hockey team forward.

Chloe Primerano is still U-18 eligible, but she could be the next new face to join Canada's senior national team as a generational talent to carry Canada's women's hockey team forward.

Chloe Primerano is one of the most hyped players on the planet, and for good reason. With another national team cycle for Hockey Canada completing at the World Championships in Utica this week, the next wave will soon look to steal a roster spot.

While she's still got another season of U-18 eligibility, which Chloe Primerano will forgo to enter the NCAA with the University of Minnesota a year earlier than her peers, Primerano is the prime candidate to make the jump with Team Canada next year.

As Ian Kennedy explains, Primerano's skill set is elite, and she's considered the next generational talent to join Canada.

With an aging roster, there's a distinct possibility Primerano could be in Canada's lineup next season and in time for the 2026 Olympics.
