Canada and USA's women's national teams will face-off for a pre-World Championship game on October 28 in Windsor, Ontario Hockey Canada announced.
Team Canada will host Team USA ahead of the 2026 IIHF women's World Championships for an exhibition game in Windsor, Ontrio on October 28 at 7pm.
The game, which will be broadcast on TSN, will take place at the 6,450-seat WFCU Centre, home of the OHL's Windsor Spitfires.
"We are thrilled to bring together two of the top countries in women’s hockey, who will showcase their incredible talent and passion in Windsor,” said D’Arcy Hutcheson, director of events with Hockey Canada. “Windsor has played host to a number of Hockey Canada events and continues to deliver an excellent experience for staff, players and fans who will be cheering on Team Canada as it prepares for the IIHF Women’s World Championship.”

USA is the reigning Olympic and World Championship gold medalists, and swept Canada for the first time ever in Rivalry Series history last season.
Canada opens their 2026 World Championship tournament November 6 against Sweden, while USA opens November 6 against Switzerland.
