USA Hockey has announced their 25-player roster for the upcoming U-18 World Championships scheduled to take place from January 4-12, 2025, in Vantaa, Finland.

Eight returning players from the 2024 gold medal winning Team USA highlight the roster including Caroline Averill, Maggie Averill, Haley Box, Mary Derrenbacher, Natalia Dilbone, Bella Fanale, Megan Healy, and Macy Rassmussen. This will be the third U-18 Worlds for Fanale and Healy.

Joining the crease alongside Dilbone will be 2008 born netminder Morgan Stickney, who was the first American woman drafted to the Western Hockey League. Joining the duo is 5-foot-11 Minnesota netminder Finley Engfer, who is one of five 2009 born players on the roster.

On the blueline, Healy and Maggie Averill will anchor the blueline, but they'll be joined by the shifty Sloane Hartmetz who showed well at the U-18 summer series. Along with Averill, there is a Massachusetts flair to the blueline with Emilia Biotti, Emma Cerruti, and Alaina Dunn on the roster. The blueline is rounded out by Chyna Taylor, Sydney Lamb, and Kenleigh Fischer.

Up front, four players from Shattuck St. Mary's including Box, Derrenbacher, Kylie Amelkovich, and Jane Daley will provide chemistry and an offensive boost to USA's lineup. Averill and Evelyn Doyle play for Assabet Valley while Sydney Stoughton and Annabelle Lovell play at Lovell Academy, and Rasmussen and Madelyn Kimbrel join from Orono High School. Rounding out the forward group are Fanale, Ella Johnson, and Christina Scalese.

From their summer roster, the biggest changes occurred up front for USA. The team struggled to score in their first two games against Canada at the Summer Series. New to the roster for the World Championships are Johnson, Scalese, and Kimbrel.

USA's roster features diverse representation including players from Massachusetts, Minnesota, Illinois, Alaska, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Vermont.
