In the first Canada Red versus Canada White game at the Fall national team selection camp, Victoria Bach looked sharp.

There were many Team Canada fans scratching their heads when Victoria Bach was omitted from the 2022 Olympic and 2023 World Championship rosters. At the Fall national team selection camp however, Bach is making her case to return to Team Canada using her trademark speed and creativity.
In the first Red vs. White game of Hockey Canada's Fall national team selection camp, Bach stood out as one of the top performers. The puck continued to find Bach throughout the game, including in the first period when she tipped home a Stephanie Markowski point shot.
Bach last played for Team Canada at the 2022 World Championships where she helped Canada win gold scoring five points in seven games. She also won gold with Canada at the 2021 World Championships and 2014 U-18 World Championships.
Following her senior season at Boston University where Bach scored 39 goals and 67 points in 33 games, she jumped into the CWHL during the league's final season winning Rookie of the Year after notching 32 points in 26 games with the Markham Thunder.
Bach, 27, who played with Team Scotiabank in the PWHPA, looked like an early contender to steal a spot on Canada's roster.
