11 women are eligible for selection to the Hockey Hall of Fame as part of the 2024 class. Here's a look at that list, and the historic exclusion of women from the Hall.

The Hockey Hall of Fame announced their eligibility list for the 2024 induction class. It was a list that included ten previously eligible players, and one first time eligible player. The Hockey Hall of Fame selection committee will announced the official selections June 25.
The Hall of Fame induction festivities will run from November 8 through November 10 with the induction ceremony itself taking place on November 11, 2024.
Last season Caroline Ouellette was the lone woman acknowledged, making it the 13th consecutive year that the Hockey Hall of Fame failed to use both available spots to recognize women.
Among those eligible this season are Jennifer Botterill, Karyn Bye-Dietz, Natalie Darwitz, Katie King, Carla MacLeod, Dawn McGuire, Jenny Potter, Sami Jo Small, Zuzana Tomcikova, and Krissy Wendell, who have all been previously eligible for induction, and Monique Lamoureux-Morando who is a first time eligible player.
Women were first allowed into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2010 when two spots were allocated for women each year. That year, the Hall inducted Angela James and Cammi Granato. Since 2010, the Hockey Hall of Fame has never again used both spots to induct women to the Hall of Fame, and four times have excluded women from their induction class entirely.
Alternatively four men can be inducted each year. Two spots are also allocated to builders, regardless of gender, although no woman has ever been inducted in this category.
