If you were hoping to attend a December Rivalry Series stop in Sarnia, Ontario or Kitchener, Ontario, unfortunately, that wish will take a holiday miracle.

If you wanted to buy PWHL season tickets in Toronto? Sorry, they're sold out and PWHL Ottawa and Montreal are seeing their seats rapidly disappear as well.

This Thursday's Rivalry Series game in Kitchener, Ontario is completely sold out, filling the 7,131 seat Kitchener Memorial Auditorium to the brim. The rink is home to the OHL's Kitchener Rangers who are averaging just over 6000 fans per game this season. It's a hockey hot bed, that is also ready to consume women's hockey.

Next week, only standing room tickets remain at Sarnia's Progressive Auto Sales Arena as the 4,118 seats are sold out, and limited standing room remains.

It's a trend across the board in women's hockey in Canada right now as PWHL Toronto this week announced they sold out their season ticket packages shortly after they went on sale leading up to the league's inaugural season.

Looking at PWHL Montreal and PWHL Ottawa's remaining tickets, those rinks are rapidly filling as well.

Looking forward to the final stops of the Rivalry Series in February in Saskatoon and Regina, tickets are going quickly as well, particularly at the 15,100 seat SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

The demand coincides with growing interest in the new Professional Women's Hockey League which will begin play January 1, 2024 at Mattamy Arena in Toronto.
