
The 2025 Living Sisu Hockey League is now in the books with Team Manmade winning the 2025 title. Team Manmade beat Team Healthy Love Berry 9-6 in the final.
Team Manmade featured Marie-Philip Poulin, Laura Stacey, Ann-Renee Desbiens, Eloise Caron, Emilie Lavoie, Evelyne Blais-Savoie, and Gabrielle Santerre.
Team Healthy Love Berry had Jade Downie-Landry, Jill Saulnier, Emmy Fecteau, Liliane Perreault, Emilie Lussier, Marilou Grenier and Alexandra-Anne Boyer.
In the final, Emilie Lussier opened the scoring for Healthy Love Berry, but only seconds later Poulin found Evelyne Blais-Savoie open in the slot to tie the game. Less than a minute later Poulin scored one of her from the high slot to make it 2-1. Continuing the quick succession of goals Emmy Fecteau fired one high blocker side to tie the score 2-2.
The back and forth continued with Laura Stacey hitting Emilie Lavoie on the tape which she redirected on a net from drive to make the score 3-2 for Team Manmade.
Fecteau answered back for Healthy Berry Love ripping a long shot that beat Desbiens low on the glove side tying the game at 3-3. Fecteau continued her output carrying the puck end-to-end before placing a no-look pass on the tape of Emilie Lussier who tapped it home into an open net to give Healthy Love Berry their first league.
Gabrielle Santerre knotted the game at 4-4 firing a shot off a Poulin pass near the end of the first period. The game would remain tied at the end of the opening period
In the second, Poulin opened the scoring taking a puck high near the blueline before firing a spinning wrist shot that snuck through Marilou Grenier to put Team Manmade ahead 5-4.
Jade Downie-Landry tied the score again sliding a deke under Desbiens on a breakaway with under six minutes to go.
Laura Stacey fired a wrist shot stepping over the blueline with under four minutes to go to regain the lead for Team Manmade 6-5 heading to the third period.
To open the third, Poulin fired a shot high blocker side to make it 7-5. Healthy Love Berry pulled within one with Liliane Perreault finishing a tic tac toe passing play to make the score 7-6, but that's as close as they'd come. Poulin continued to show she's the best player on the ice no matter where she goes scoring again before Eloise Caron collected her own rebound off a shot before walking to open ice and capping the scoring at 9-6.
