There are few pure goal scorers in America like Addison Spitz.

This year with the Little Caesars 16U 'AAA' team, Spitz scored 98 goals. Last season at the 16U level she potted 69 and 138 points in 64 games. The year before in 14U, she netted 73 goals and 133 points in 56 games. She'll join Little Caesars' 19U team this season.

Those are hard to replicate numbers for any player at any level.

"Spitz is the best goal scorer in the age group. Undersized but her work ethic and release is 10/10," said Little Caesars coach Jordan Forgione.

The Little Caesars program has produced U-18 national team members including Cassie Hall, Elyssa Biedermann, and Kirsten Simms in recent seasons. Other alumni include this year's Ivy League Player of the Year Elle Hartje of Yale, PHF captains and all-stars Madison Packer and Shiann Darkangelo, former PHF defender of the year Kaleigh Fratkin, and former Canadian national team member Geneviève Lacasse.

Neutral Zone's scouting staff wrote upon Spitz's NCAA commitment last Fall,

"The winger’s moves and sick stick skills confuse her opponents. She likes to drag the puck and set a play in motion. She has strong communication to linemates for a pass or when getting herself to the net for shots," they wrote, also commenting on Spitz's breakaway speed."

Scoring goals is always an issue for teams, but Spitz's combination of speed and an elite shot should have Colgate fans excited. The right shot forward from Grosse Point, Michigan will join the NCAA program for the 2024-2025 season.
