Grace Outwater, a Penn State commit, is a player to watch this season with the OWHL U22 Elite's Ottawa Senators.

Committed to play for Penn State, Grace Outwater has already been identified as a top player in Ontario, but she appears poised to take that to another level this season with the Ottawa Senators.

Outwater is entering her third season in the OWHL U22 Elite loop despite being a 2006 born player. She spent her first season with the Nepean Wildcats before jumping to the Ottawa Senators program. It was in Ottawa that Outwater flourished.

"She's physically dominant, she'll be one of our leaders and looked upon to carry the offensive load," said Ottawa general manager Dana Mulvihill of his expectations for Outwater this season.

"She's fast, she's physical, and she has an excellent shot that are her trademarks as a player."

In 30 games this season Outwater totalled 15 goals and 27 points. The five-foot-eight right shot forward was also one of the final cuts from Team Ontario last year, a position she will have an excellent chance to grab this season.

When she arrives at Penn State next year, Outwater will have the opportunity to play alongside one of the top players in the planet as Tessa Janecke remains with the team as their leading scorer. She'll also be joined by Canadian U-18 national team member Abby Stonehouse, who also plays in the OWHL.
