Stryker Zablocki emerged for the Regina Rebels as a prospect on the rise at the national championships catching eyes with her speed and skill.

Aside from having a ridiculously good hockey name, Stryker Zablocki is also one of the top prospects rising in Canada.

The 16-year-old, 2007 born prospect spent this season playing 'AAA' hockey for Saskatchewan's Regina Rebels, leading her team to a provincial championship and a spot at the Esso Cup.

In 30 regular season games, Zablocki scored 25 goals and 40 points, and added another 11 in eight playoff games.

Stepping into the Esso Cup, the Prince Albert product was an immediate standout. Her speed, stemming from all around off-ice athleticism, was evident. Gathering the puck, Zablocki can create instantaneous separation from checkers. Her hockey IQ however, also helps her change that pace to manipulate passing and shooting lanes.

Her speed is evident in this shorthanded goal where Zablocki does the lifting before St. Cloud State commit Greta Henderson finishes in game one of the 2023 Esso Cup.

Zablocki's ability to beat defenders one-on-one was also evident. She's deceptive with the puck, especially in motion. In this clip, Zablocki takes a nice feed from Princeton commit Brooklyn Nimegeers to score on the powerplay.

Zablocki is currently uncommitted to an NCAA program, but come June, that status will almost certainly change. Her recent performance at the 2023 Esso Cup for the Regina Rebels should secure that future.

Zablocki was a key component to Regina's bronze medal run showcasing her speed and creativity throughout. Playing in a one goal bronze medal game, Zablocki demonstrated the depth of her game, often being trusted in defensive zone starts and paired with linemate Berlin Lolacher on Regina's first penalty kill unit.

When the June 15 signing period opens, Stryker Zablocki will be one of the most sought after 2007 born prospects in Canada.
