Quebec will face Ontario Red in the gold medal game of the U-18 Canadian national championships, while Alberta and British Columbia will play for bronze.
Team Ontario Red punched their ticket to the gold medal game shutting out Alberta 4-0. Hannah Clark made 21 stops for the shutout.
Maxine Cimoroni's marker 3:30 into the game held up as the winner, with goals from Abby Stonehouse, Lexi Bertelsen, and Claire Murdoch to round out the scoring for Ontario Red.
In the other semi-final, after British Columbia jumped out to a 3-0 lead, Quebec stormed back and scored seven unanswered goals to take a 7-3 win and advance to the gold medal game.
Chloe Primerano had two goals and an assist in the first period, but the night belonged to Quebec captain Sienna D'Alessandro who scored a hat trick and added two assists for a five point night. Victoria Veilleux also had a pair of goals for Quebec.
Saskatchewan Finishes Fifth
In the placement games, Saskatchewan beat Ontario Red 3-2 with Stryker Zablocki carrying her province. Zablocki scored a pair of goals in the game including the game winner midway through the third beating Saskatchewan netminder Ava Drabyk on a shorthanded breakaway.
Sage Babey had two assists for Saskatchewan. She completed a highlight reel no-look pass to Berlin Lolacher in the opening frame to get Saskatchewan on the board.
