    According to a report from Deadline, a new docuseries with executive producers Megan Rapinoe and Sue Bird will features stories on professional women's athletes from across a spectrum of sports, including hockey. 

    As Deadline reports, Bunim/Murray Productions, in conjunction with Sue Bird's company TOGETHXR will be following the lives of elite athletes in women's sports from the PWHL, WNBA, NWSL and more.

    The companies are in the early stages as they plan to begin shopping the series to streaming platforms soon.

    “We believe in the power of sport to tell stories that transcend the game," Bird and Rapinoe said in a joint statement to Deadline. "This series is an opportunity to showcase the incredible journeys of these phenomenal athletes, on and off the field. As athletes and partners who share a bond through our love of sports, we’re thrilled to team up with Bunim-Murray and TOGETHXR to bring these stories to life and give fans a deeper look at the lives of the athletes who inspire us all.”

    According to Deadline's report, the series will follow not only the athletes, but the lives of their families, wives, girlfriends, and more as they navigate the situations on the court, field, and ice, and the challenges that come off the ice.
