Pro star Liz Schepers opened the scoring in the championship game. Schepers was signed to play with the PHF's Minnesota Whitecaps this season and will be a player to watch in the new professional women's hockey league.
Ohio State's Delaney Fleming was next on the board for Ace Hardware before Abby Boreen tallied for Traditional Mortgage to make the score 2-1 after one.
Sam Mathe, who will play NCAA hockey for Long Island University this season scored next for Ace Hardware, a goal that would stand as the game winner.
Boreen would again close the gap making the score 3-2 before Emily Zumwinkle put the game on ice scoring an empty netter.
Ella Boerger and Liz Schepers both topped the playoff scoring with six points each over the weekend
