Ivo Mocek has gone from a coach for the PHF's Metropolitan Riveters, to a GM and coaching candidate in the PWHL, to a coach in China...all in a span of five months. Ivo Mocek discusses his path from the PHF, attempting to crack the PWHL, and now heading to China to coach. Last season, Ivo Mocek was coaching in the PHF with the Metropolitan Riveters. When the offseason hit, the Riveters staff were well into building a new roster for the 2023-2024 season when everything stopped; when the PHF acquisition occurred. Within weeks, Mocek was let go like most other PHF staff. After chasing a potential spot in the PWHL, Mocek eventually landed a job coaching professional women's hockey in Kunlun, China.
