Ivo Mocek has gone from a coach for the PHF's Metropolitan Riveters, to a GM and coaching candidate in the PWHL, to a coach in China...all in a span of five months.

Last season, Ivo Mocek was coaching in the PHF with the Metropolitan Riveters. When the offseason hit, the Riveters staff were well into building a new roster for the 2023-2024 season when everything stopped; when the PHF acquisition occurred. Within weeks, Mocek was let go like most other PHF staff. After chasing a potential spot in the PWHL, Mocek eventually landed a job coaching professional women's hockey in Kunlun, China.
