    Jenna Buglionni

Jenna Buglioni won't wait long to hear her name at the 2025 PWHL Draft. While the Ohio State captain isn't the biggest player in the draft, she makes up for her size with skating and intelligence.

Buglioni never shies from any puck battle, and impacts the game in all three zones.

A member of Canada's national development team this season, Buglioni recorded 42 points in 38 games this season with the Buckeyes, the same program she's helped win two national titles.

This season Buglioni won 52% of her face-offs, and was one of Ohio State's top penalty killers, finishing second in the WCHA in shorthanded goals.

Buglioni sees the ice well uses her stick on the defensive side to take away lanes and free pucks. Buglioni's hockey IQ is one of her best attributes. She reads plays well stepping up to cut off passes before quickly transitioning the play up ice.

On the attack, Buglioni uses changes of pace to deceive and has the foot speed to win races to loose pucks on retrieval. She has earned a reputation as a no quit player who gives second and third efforts on both sides of the puck.

Her game at times resembles Team Canada and Montreal Victoire forward Kristin O'Neill although Buglioni likely has a slightly higher upside, particularly as a playmaker.

Buglioni projects as a second round pick who can make a difference in a middle six role.
