    Rory Guilday

Rory Guilday is a defensive defender who spent the past four seasons playing for Cornell in the NCAA. She's also won multiple medals internationally playing for USA's senior national team.

The 5-foot-11 Guilday takes care of her own zone first using her reach to close lanes and separate pucks. She's a good passer and skates well, especially considering her size.

Using her size and smarts, Guilday should have offensive upside in the PWHL. She's also capable to play the league's physical style.

"I think that it is incredibly special to have something to strive for post-college," Guilday said of the PWHL. "It has been so cool to watch the league grow even in this past year, and so fun to watch how good the hockey is. It would be an incredible opportunity to get the chance to play in the PWHL. Playing with and against the best female hockey players in the world is definitely something to look forward to."

Guilday represented Team USA at three World Championships winning two silver medals and a gold in 2024. She also won gold as a member of USA's U-18 national team. While Guilday has played with many of the top athletes in the world with Team USA, she's excited to join the group permanently.

"I look up to so many of these athletes, having had the opportunity to play with and against a lot of them on the national level makes me that much more excited to do it in this setting..." she said. "Being surrounded by such incredible hockey players is invaluable and I believe that it will foster an environment of growth for me and push me to be the best me that I can be."
