PWHL Boston has secured one of the top forwards in the world signing Alina Muller to a three-year contract. Boston acquired Muller with the third overall pick in the inaugural PWHL Draft.
While waiting for the PWHL season to begin, Muller has been back in Switzerland playing for the ZSC Lions where she's collected 12 goals and 19 points in only five games.
Last season, Muller completed her fifth year at Northeastern University where she was a Patty Kazmaier Award nominee in each of her five NCAA seasons. Muller compiled 254 points in 159 career games with Northeastern.
The centre, 25, has also represented Switzerland at eight World Championships and two Olympic Games, helping her nation win an Olympic bronze medal in 2014. She also was named Best Forward at the 2018 Olympic Games leading the tournament in points and goals.
At Northeastern, Muller was a three-time recipient of the Hockey East Player of the Year Award, and started off her NCAA career as Hockey East Rookie of the Year.
Last season she scored 60 points in 38 games and added 10 points in seven games at the World Championships with Switzerland.
