PWHL Hamilton has signed Swiss star and former Boston Fleet founding member Alina Muller to a three-year contract.
PWHL Hamilton has added a dynamic forward to their expansion roster, signing Swiss forward Alina Müller to a three-year contract.
The 27-year-old joins Hamilton after spending the first three seasons of her PWHL career with Boston. Originally selected third overall by Boston in the inaugural 2023 PWHL Draft, Müller made history as the first European player ever drafted into the league.
Müller recorded 21 points (4 goals, 17 assists) in 30 games during the 2025-26 season and has produced 56 points in 80 career regular-season games. She was named to the PWHL All-Rookie Team in 2024.
In Hamilton, Müller will be reunited with former Boston Fleet head coach Kris Sparre.
Internationally, Müller brings an extensive resumé to the expansion team. She represented Switzerland at her fourth consecutive Olympic Winter Games in Milano Cortina after previously competing in 2014, 2018, and 2022. At just 15 years old, she helped Switzerland capture bronze at the 2014 Olympics, becoming the youngest player in Olympic history to win a medal at the tournament.
Her breakout Olympic performance came in 2018, when she led the tournament in scoring with 10 points in six games.
A native of Winterthur, Switzerland, Müller also has nine IIHF Women’s World Championship appearances to her name. Before turning professional, she starred at Northeastern University, where she became one of the most decorated players in program history.
Müller was a two-time Patty Kazmaier top three finalist, and a five-time Patty Kazmaier Top-10 finalist.
The addition gives Hamilton a proven top-six forward to play with Brianne Jenner, who signed earlier on Friday.
