Buffalo Beauts captain Dominique Kremer and forward Summer-Rae Dobson have signed re-negotiated contracts for the second year of deals they signed last season.
Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
"I am super pumped to get back to the grind in Buffalo,” said Kremer in a team news release. “It’s really time to turn things around for the Beauts, and I’m excited to be a part of that. I can’t wait to prove all of the naysayers wrong this year.”
Kremer, who was the PHF's Defender of the Year in 2021-2022 was recently voted the PHF Fans' First Star from last season.
Kremer acknowledges the Beauts' on-ice struggles last season, but believes the team is moving in the right direction.
“While the Beauts have struggled over the past couple of years, a solid foundation has been laid,” said Kremer. “I believe that this foundation will help lead this team to success. Every woman that signs on to be part of this organization understands that it will be an uphill battle, and I don’t think that level of commitment and determination will be matched by any of our opponents.”
Dobson was a rookie with the Beauts last season after a five-year NCAA career with Mercyhurst and Connecticut. She was voted the Beauts' Rookie of the Year.
