The Montreal Victoire will return to the Bell Centre for a March 1 game against the Boston Fleet.

The Montreal Victoire will return to the Bell Centre for a March 1 game against the Boston Fleet.

News regarding Montreal Victoire’s schedule keeps coming. A few days after the official announcement that the team will play at the Videotron Center in January, The Hockey News was able to confirm that on March 1st, the team will be back at Bell Center.

The Boston Fleet will be the visitors when the Montreal Victoire host their second game at the Bell Center, a little over 10 months after their first one.

On April 20, 2024, Montreal and Toronto drew a sold-out crowd of 21,105, marking the world’s largest attendance ever for a women’s hockey game. Toronto defeated Montreal in overtime by the score of 3-2.

On March 1, 2025, Montreal will have a chance to avenge that loss and equal their attendance record against Hilary Knight, Aerin Frankel and the rest of the team who eliminated them last spring in the first round of the playoffs.

That day, the Montreal Canadiens are playing in Buffalo, while the Laval Rocket will play at the Bell Place, a game against the Belleville Sens, scheduled for 7p.m. Therefore, one has to expect the game at Bell Center to be held in the afternoon.

Playing in the largest venues possible

With that, we now know where Montreal will play all of their games this season: 13 games at the Bell Place in Laval, one game at the Videotron Center in Quebec City, and one game at the Bell Center in Montreal. Interestingly enough, those three buildings are also the three biggestarenas in the province of Quebec, speaking volume about PWHL’s popularity.

Last season, the game at the Bell Center was scheduled and announced late into the season. As a matter of fact, the team relocated a previously announced game at the Verdun Auditorium, and even juggled with the team’s schedule to make it work.

This time around, it’s being planned in advance and scheduled in the team’s calendar, although no official announcement has been made by the Victoire, yet.
