USA national team member Becca Gilmore is the first undrafted player to officially sign a contract with a PWHL club following the draft.
Gilmore signed a one year deal with PWHL Ottawa the team announced Monday.
Gilmore, 25, played 11 games in the PHF last season with the Boston Pride recording seven points. The 5-foot-6 forward was later named to USA’s World Championship roster scoring one goal in five games for USA en route to winning a gold medal.
Gilmore, a Harvard alumni, also won two U-18 World Championship gold medals with USA.
