    Sidney Morin was picked up on waivers by PWHL Boston. According to general manager Danielle Marmer, she sees it as an upgrade and significant addition.

    When the final round of roster reductions occurred, Boston saw Sidney Morin on the waiver wire and couldn't pass up the opportunity to add the defender.

    Morin won Olympic gold with Team USA at the 2018 Olympics, and spent last season with the PHF's Minnesota Whitecaps. She was drafted by Minnesota, but ultimately was placed on waivers, and Boston general manager Danielle Marmer jumped at the opportunity to add Morin to her blueline.

    The move came at a cost however, as it meant downgrading the one-year contract signed by defender Emma Buckles to a reserve spot on their roster.
