The Wynnewood, PA, native, drafted 10th overall by the Fleet in the 2026 PWHL Draft, is signed through the 2028-29 season.
The Boston Fleet have signed their second 2026 PWHL Draft pick, defender Grace Dwyer, to a three-year Standard Player Agreement through the 2028-29 season.
“I am super excited to play in Boston,” said Dwyer via team release. “It has a rich sports tradition, and the Fleet team and coaches are top-notch. I can’t wait to play in front of the passionate fans. Let’s go, Fleet!”
The 10th overall selection in this year's draft, Dwyer played her collegiate career at Cornell University, appearing in 134 games and recording 76 points. In her first collegiate season, Dwyer earned ECAC Hockey All-Rookie Team honours and an Ivy League honourable mention while registering 37 blocked shots. This past season, as captain of the Big Red, Dwyer earned First Team All-Ivy and ECAC Hockey Third Team honours while playing in all 33 games for the program.

While we’re confident her speed and skill level will make an immediate and positive impact on the ice, it’s exciting to look to the future knowing Grace has the opportunity to develop alongside Megan Keller and Haley Winn for years to come here in Boston.”
Internationally, Dwyer has also represented the United States at the 2022 IIHF U18 Women’s World Championship, earning a silver medal.
Dwyer joins a blue line that also includes Amanda Boulier, Rylind MacKinnon and second-round pick Leah Stecker, along with reigning PWHL Defender of the Year Megan Keller and Rookie of the Year Haley Winn.
