The Boston Fleet have signed third-round draft pick, defender Leah Stecker, to a three-year contract. Stecker, the 27th overall pick in the 2026 PWHL Draft is secure through the 2028-29 PWHL season.
From Randolph, NJ, Stecker spent the past four seasons playing for Penn State in the NCAA. Last year she recorded a career high 20 points in 39 games while serving as an alternate captain.
She was part of a large cohort of Penn State seniors drafted headlined by captain Tessa Janecke who went third overall.
The 5-foot-9, right shot defender played for the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers prior to he signing.
She'll join Megan Keller, Haley Winn, Amanda Boulier, and Rylind MacKinnon as signed members of Boston's blueline.
