The performance came off the heels of Soderberg earning WCHA Goaltender of the Year for the second time in her NCAA career backstopping Minnesota-Duluth. Soderberg posted a 1.39 GAA and .938 save percentage. She also collected 12 shutouts in 33 appearances.
The 25-year-old had signed a two year contract with the PHF's Connecticut Whale prior to the acquisition of the league by the Mark Walter Group.
Frankel was a back-to-back NCAA Goaltender of the Year, and is the starter for Team USA.
