Soderberg was the Best Goaltender at the 2023 World Championships backstopping Sweden to the quarterfinals where they took Canada to overtime.
The performance came off the heels of Soderberg earning WCHA Goaltender of the Year for the second time in her NCAA career backstopping Minnesota-Duluth. Soderberg posted a 1.39 GAA and .938 save percentage. She also collected 12 shutouts in 33 appearances.
The 25-year-old had signed a two year contract with the PHF's Connecticut Whale prior to the acquisition of the league by the Mark Walter Group.
