Hockey Canada today announced the selection of 30 players to their national team selection camp ahead of the 2025 Rivalry Series and 2026 Olympics in Milano Cortina.

In net, Canada is bringing back Ann-Renee Desbiens, the nation's long-time starter, as well as Emerance Maschmeyer, who has been her backup in recent seasons but missed the 2025 World Championships due to injury. Also returning from the 2025 World Championship roster is Eve Gascon. Gascon was the WCHA Goaltender of the Year and a First Team All-American with Minnesota-Duluth. With Canada in 2025 she served as their third goalie. Rounding out the crease for Canada is New York Sirens goalie Kayle Osborne.

On the blueline, Canada is bringing back the entirety of their blueline from the 2025 Worlds including stalwarts Renata Fast, Jocelyne Larocque, Ella Shelton, and Erin Ambrose. Back again are also Micah Zandee-Hart, Sophie Jaques, Claire Thompson, and Chloe Primerano. Looking to take one of their spots is Nicole Gosling who won gold with Canada in 2024 and was the fourth overall pick of the Montreal Victoire in the 2025 PWHL Draft. She's joined by fellow Montreal Victoire blueliner Kati Tabin who will look to crack Canada's lineup for the first time in her professional career.

Up front, Canada's veteran core including Marie-Philip Poulin, Laura Stacey, Sarah Fillier, Brianne Jenner, Sarah Nurse, Natalie Spooner, Emily Clark, Emma Maltais, Blayre Turnbull, and Kristin O'Neill are back. Also returning are younger forwards like Danielle Serdachny, Jennifer Gardiner, Daryl Watts, and Julia Gosling.

Hannah Miller will be with Team Canada training this summer as well, although her eligibility remains pending due to IIHF restrictions that kept her from the 2025 IIHF World Championships.

Caitlin Kraemer, the reigning NCAA Rookie of the Year will be in camp with Canada as well. She's set to return for her second season with the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
