With the PHF no longer, THN looks at some of the all-time greats to play for the Connecticut Whale.

Kennedy Marchment will move on from the Connecticut Whale as the franchise's all-time leading scorer, while at the other end, Jess Koizumi was the team's first ever captain in 2015.
One of the inaugural NWHL teams, the Whale never captured an Isobel Cup title.
With the PHF acquisition and a new professional women's hockey league, THN looked back at the best all-time players to suit up for the Connecticut Whale. Had this season been played, names like Emma Soderberg and Kacey Bellamy certainly would have been added to this list, but for now, it's a look back at the best Whale from the last eight years.
Making this list is a two-fold process. First, the best ever players to suit up for the team were considered, even if they only appeared for a single season. Next, the longest standing Beauts and players who had an impact over time earned their spot.
The resulting list is THN's Connecticut Whale all-time roster. We selected ten forwards, six defenders, and two goalies for this list.
