At the recent Hockey Canada national team selection camp, Schroeder stopped all 20 shots she faced in her two periods of action recording a 0.00 GAA and 1.00 save percentage. She was the only goalie in attendance not to allow a goal in either game.
The 24-year-old had a spectacular NCAA career with Boston University and Quinnipiac posting a career 1,69 GAA and .939 save percentage.
Last season, Schroeder made her professional debut going 19-1-0 with seven shutouts, a 1.67 GAA and .955 save percentage in the PHF.
The 5-foot-11 netminder earned PHF Goaltender of the Year honors for her performance.
