NHL superstar Sidney Crosby stated to media at NHL All-Star weekend that he'd support a PWHL franchise in Pittsburgh.

If the NHL's top star of the generation, Sidney Crosby, has anything to say about it, he'd like to see the PWHL expand to Pittsburgh.
At the NHL All-Star events, Crosby addressed media and spoke in support of the PWHL joining his Pittsburgh Penguins.
"I think it'd be great. I think we've shown, as a city, with the fan support and the way that people love the game, that'd be something that would be great to have in the city," said Crosby.
"If the league was willing to expand, hopefully that's something that could happen."
The PWHL is expected to play a regular season game in Pittsburgh on March 16 of this season. It could serve as a test to the market.
Crosby is in his 19th NHL season. In more than 1200 career games he's scored over 1550 points, won three Stanley Cups, two Hart and Art Ross Trophies, and countless other honors.
