Denisa Krizova helped the Minnesota Whitecaps upset the Boston Pride, and she was a the leading scorer for Team Czechia who won bronze at the IIHF World Championships. It was a year of successes for Denisa Krizova, and after signing a new two-year contract with the PHF's Whitecaps, she'll have a chance to build on that memorable season.

“It feels great to be able to play hockey next year in Minnesota. We have great fans that make it a great place to play,” Krizova said in a press release. “I love the team culture in Minnesota and the want to win a championship.”

After three seasons playing in the SDHL with Brynäs IF, Krizova returned to North America last season to play for the Whitecaps where she scored nine points in 24 games.

“I went into this offseason knowing that I wanted to bring her back, so my job was to find players that I thought would fit in with her style,” said Whitecaps general manager Chi-Yin Tse. “I believe we got those players and I am now excited to see how everyone fits together on the ice.”

Playing for Czechia at the World Championship, the long time national team member recorded five points in seven games helping Czechia win their second consecutive bronze.

Krizova also represented Team World at the 2023 PHF All-Star game, and was a 2023 PHF Foundation Award winner.
