Dominika Laskova has become the first PHF player chosen in the PWHL Draft as the Czechia defender went 19th overall to Montreal.

Dominika Laskova, a member of Czechia's national team, was selected 19th overall by Montreal in the PWHL Draft. The pick makes her the first PHF player selected as Laskova was a key member of the Isobel Cup champion Toronto Six last season.

With the Six, Laskova had 13 points in 24 games, and added three assists in seven games with Czechia at the World Championships, helping Czechia win their second straight bronze medal.

Laskova is an alumni or Merrimack College.
