PWHL Montreal has signed Czech national team member and former Toronto Six defender Dominika Lásková to a two-year contract.

Lásková was the first PHF player selected in the PWHL Draft when Montreal chose her 19th overall. While waiting for the PWHL to launch this season, Lásková played 13 games with Luleå HF in the SDHL.

“Laska is a highly skilled player that brings versatility and international experience to our lineup. Her outgoing personality provides energy at the rink,” said Montreal head coach Kori Cheverie.

Last season Laskova won an Isobel Cup title with the Toronto Six scoring 13 points in 24 games. The 26-year-old also won a World Championship bronze medal with Czechia.
