PWHL fans knew rosters would be re-shaped through expansion; no one, however, expected the deep cut that will see each team lose multiple top line stars.

With PWHL teams only permitted to initially protect three players, adding a fourth after their first two players are picked, it means each PWHL team will lose at least two of their top six players.

It means there will be an exodus of beloved stars across the league.
