Brianne Jenner talks about Emily Clark, a player she once referred to as the "heartbeat" of Team Canada. The two will be PWHL teammates in Ottawa.
Emily Clark has been described as Team Canada's "heartbeat."
Now she's destined to bring that heartbeat to Canada's capital city as the first player ever signed by the PWHL's Ottawa franchise.
According to Brianne Jenner, the 2022 Olympic Games MVP who will also play in Ottawa this season, Clark brings a plethora of attributes to a team, both in good times and during bad.
"She's somebody who no matter what is going on, in her game or in her world, she's there for us," Jenner said of Clark.
"She's just the most consistent teammate and performer"
Now, Emily Clark will get that opportunity to bring that same personality and character to Ottawa. The Team Canada veteran and Saskatchewan product will look to be the "heartbeat" of Canada's capital come January.
