Fans Overwhelmingly Choose Xcel Energy Centre As PWHL's Best Venue

PWHL fans voted Minnesota's Xcel Energy Center as the top PWHL venue in THN-W's fan poll followed by Ottawa's TD Place Arena.

There was debate over size and location of several PWHL venues, but in THN-W's PWHL fan poll, bigger was better as fans chose Minnesota's Xcel Energy Center, the biggest venue in the league, as the best.

The Xcel Energy Center, which is now home to both PWHL Minnesota and the NHL's Minnesota Wild, received 58.59% of the vote as the PWHL's best venue.

It was followed by Ottawa's TD Place Arena at 20.76%.

The two facilities broke the professional women's hockey attendance record the same week with Ottawa downing the record first, followed by Minnesota only days later.

Conversely, Lowell's Tsongas Center and Bridgeport's Total Mortgage Arena took the bottom spots with similar 3.37% and 3.26% respectively.
