Final: Top 120 PWHL Draft Rankings

The Hockey News counts down a revised top 120 draft ranking following the release of the PWHL's Draft eligibility list.

Following the release of the PWHL's official draft eligibility list, we made final adjustments to our own draft rankings. Some players who did not declare, including veterans Amanda Kessel, Rebecca Johnston, Laura Fortino, Melissa Samoskevich, and Jennifer Wakefield, were removed from our list. 

This final ranking however, does include newly declared players including Hannah Miller, Lina Ljungblom, Kaitlyn Tougas, Maggie Connors, and Cami Kronish appeared on our revised list. Other names including Lilane Perreault, Blanka Skodova, Emily Rickwood, and Kristin Della Rovere were also added.

One factor that will impact this draft list is the results of the compassionate circumstance applications. The league will require some teams to select players granted compassionate circumstances in a specified round based on the league's assessment of their value. Other players who were granted compassionate circumstances however, will not be drafted by any team, including the team in their desired market, and instead will be asked to tryout for their desired team. This draft list includes all players based on ability, although some listed in the top 120 below will not be drafted due to these circumstances, unrelated to the draft lists of individual teams.
