The PWHL's inaugural season player pool continues to form the core of many teams. These five veterans who are in their third year in the league have already smashed all their previous offensive marks with time remaining in the season.

Many of the PWHL's three year veterans are having career years in 2025-26. While they aren't the only inaugural season veterans to see their offense blossom in year three, these five veterans are having career seasons of note.

Blayre Turnbull, Toronto Sceptres

Pegged as a purely two-way, defensively minded forward in her international career, this season Toronto took the reigns off their captain. With three goals and only nine points in year one, which grew modestly to five goals and 11 points in 30 games in year two, Turnbull has become an offensive threat this year in Toronto. She has career highs in power play goals, shorthanded goals, and has smashed her previous marks scoring nine goals and 16 points in 25 games to date.

Kelly Pannek, Minnesota Frost

Pannek has blown her previous offensive totals out of the water this season with the Minnesota Frost. After recording four goals and 16 points in year one in 24 games, Pannek dipped to only three goals and 11 points in 30 games in year two. This season however, the long time American national team member and Olympic gold medalist has been an offensive force. Pannek has 12 goals and 24 points in 24 games this season, smashing her previous marks. She's already pass her career goal total in a single campaign, and may double her career point total by the time the year is done.

Abby Roque, Montreal Victoire

In her first two seasons in the PWHL, Abby Roque recorded 13 points in 24 games, followed by 17 points in 30 games with the New York Sirens. She scored six goals in each of those campaigns. In that span she was also a -23. This season with the Montreal Victoire, Roque is up to 19 points in 24 games, and is +8. Sometimes a change of scenery is all you need.

Abby Roque highlights

Taylor Heise, Minnesota Frost

Taylor Heise is proof that even for national team experienced stars, the adaptation to the PWHL takes time, and even elite players can continue their development in the league. Heise had four goals and 13 points as a rookie in 2024. The following season she totalled 22 points in 29 games. This year, Heise already has a career best nine goals and 24 points in 24 games.

Megan Keller, Boston Fleet

Keller has always been one of the PWHL's top offensive defenders. She had 15 points in 24 games during the inaugural season and 13 points in 30 games during year two. This season guiding the first place Boston Fleet, Keller has a career best six goals and 17 points in 24 games, and is the front runner to be named the PWHL's Defender of the Year.
