The Boston Fleet now sit seven points clear of both Montreal and Minnesota maintaining a solid lead over first place in the PWHL.

The Boston Fleet earned another hard working, low scoring regulation win on Wednesday night. This time is was a 2-1 home victory over the Toronto Sceptres.

In the first, it looked as though Megan Keller put Boston up 1-0 on the power play, but the goal was called back for goaltender interference. Only 45 seconds into the second period however, Alina Muller made it official, this time with Keller and Haley Irwin assisting.

Late in the third, Shay Maloney would add insurance for the Fleet, which they'd need as Emma Maltais answered back in the final two minutes.

From there on out, is what Boston's team defence, and the 21 saves Aerin Frankel made in Boston's net that held the ship watertight until the final buzzer.

Muller's goal moved her into Boston's all-time scoring lead.

“It was time to get [a goal]. We had a lot of chances on the power play and thankfully we were able to get one in... That was probably the one I tried to put in the net the least out of all the chances I've had the last few games, but sometimes it goes that way," Muller said. "In the end, I just want to help the team win. It doesn't matter how, I'll do whatever it takes.”

Toronto is back in action Saturday hosting the Battle on Bay Street at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto against the Vancouver Goldeneyes. Boston isn't home for long as they're headed to the West Coast to face the Seattle Torrent on Sunday.
